Happy Halloween!

I went trick or treating for the first time with my cousins. I had a great time, but Hunter's masked scared me. Mommy dressed me up like a Tootsie Roll. Mommy was a cowgirl, and Daddy refused to dress up. He says he's too old ... lol. He still went trick or treating with us, though!

My first photoshoot

Mommy's Aunt Pat came over and they dressed me all up and took pictures for what seemed like forever. I was a good sport, though!

My friend Kate

Not long after I was born I got to meet my friend, Kate. She's two weeks younger than me, but mommy and daddy have been friends with her mommy and daddy for a long time. Daddy went to high school with Kate's mommy! We had a good time, but I kept sleeping. She wanted me to wake up!

I'm all Vol!

I was definitely born into a family of crazy Vol fans. We bleed orange and white... no matter how good or bad our team is doing. So many of our friends and family got me cute Vol wear. I have socks, outfits, hats and blankets... and I look cute in everything.

Sleepy time

I love sleeping on mommy and daddy! They're so comforting. But I'll sleep just about anywhere.

Visitors

We've had lots of visitors since I was born! Here are just a few!

My first bath

Well, it didn't go so good! I was only a week old, and I hated it. I almost kicked off my umbilical cord stump. Mom and dad freaked out, but my aunts got a big kick out of them.

I screamed the whole time but mom still got me all clean.

She wrapped me up in my froggy robe and got me all warm.

Jack's arrival

We're getting this started a little late, but we're still going to start from the beginning.

Mom had to be put on bedrest before I came along... the doc said I was making her blood pressure rise. But she rested and rested, and on Tuesday, July 15 (Election Day), the doc sent mom and dad to the hospital. They gave her some medication to get things started, and then the next morning, they gave her some Pitocin so I could hurry up and get here.

Mom was in labor all day long. She thought I'd be born before 'So You Think You Can Dance' came on, but I just wasn't ready. After a very long day and night, I decided to make my appearance July 17, 2008 at 3:05 a.m.

I was 7 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 inches long! Such a big boy for three weeks early!

Mom and Dad named me Jackson Robert. They call me Jack after my great-grandfather, Daddy Jack. Robert comes from many family members including daddy, Pop Pop (my grandpa) and Paw Paw (another great-grandfather).
